Travelers And The Aspiring Ones Journal Together: Travel X Journal Workshop by Noted Journal PH

Posted by Noted Journal PH on

It was a sunny Sunday, twenty travelers and aspiring ones met in a concept store called The Wander Space to journal together and share their experiences about their big and little adventures.
This is the first workshop conducted by Noted Journal PH.
Travel X Journal Workshop is a combination of travel journal the actual travel; tips, ideas & more.
Participants were given travel journal kit with Traveler's Notebook from Noted Journal PH, journal essentials from sponsors (see below) & free drink from the organizer provided by the Wander Space cafe.
It was an intimate workshop with 10 people per batch.
These are some of the attendees from the first batch.

They were given manuals for the workshop guide and after the discussion proper they were asked to create a journal spread about the photo they brought (that is related to their previous trip) & what do they remember on that photo or how do they feel about it.
We were so happy to see a male in the group. A guy is actually interested on travel journaling! (or his fiancé just forced him to join :D #truestory)

For the activity part, they were provided a craft buffet; common use of essential needs for journaling such as washi tapes, pens, brush pens, stickers, stamps etc.
They were also encouraged use the travel journal kit that was included on their registration fee.
After doing the activity, they were also asked to share their journal spread to everyone in the group.
We chose 2 winners, the one that has the best journal spread that will receive an August Noted Box Planner Essentials from Noted Journal PH & a consolation prize for the best effort that will receive gifts from Aurora's Box, one of the sponsors.
Victoria, the facilitator also shared her on-the-spot journal spread using some of the items given by the sponsors, her personal stash & washi tapes from the Planner Essentials Collection of Noted Journal PH .
We welcomed the second batch of participants by 3:30 PM.
They have the same set of workshop flow and travel journal kits.
Surprisingly this batch has high school students with their teachers!

The facilitator shares her own travel journal to show her approach in doing her spreads.
and of course, the activity was done all over again. Good thing, they still have materials to use on the craft buffet. We were in awe to see different generations here interested in one hobby.
This activity really brings appreciation on the work of everyone. This was more than a requirement or a motivation to win the prizes but actually a realization on what they really feel and what they want to do in life.
Yes, we came that far. Each story was really moving & inspiring.
We had some positive feedbacks after the workshop
